Well, today is Mother's Day, but it feels like every other Sunday, and that's okay with me!
For Mother's Day, Natalie threw a tantrum that resulted in getting herself swats two different times (and by swat, I mean a couple pats on her diaper that hurt her feelings more than her bottom. If she had been in a good mood, she would have laughed at those pats). It was literally all Ryan and I could do to keep from laughing hysterically at the face and reaction she had, but we managed.
Colby has learned how to clear his throat, or at least make the sound, which he does consistently every five seconds or so. It is driving me insane! He keeps saying he has junk in his throat, a phrase he learned from his father. Colby says sometimes boys get junk in their throat so they have to spit, but girls don't. This is one of those things I wish Ryan hadn't taught him. Now he wants to roll the window down and spit out of it as he rides to school. On windy days, you can see how this would be a problem.
