Tonight, like so many nights, the kids are in bed and Colby and Natalie are already asleep, but Meredith is still causing problems, lol. I put her in bed and retreat to my room when I hear a loud whisper, "Mom! Mom!!"Like a sucker, I go to her if only to keep her from waking up the others. While usually her requests are petty ones ("Mom I need water," "Dad, what is that noise?" "Mom, how long do I have to rest?"), tonight was a little different.

Me: "What is it, Meredith?"
M: "I need to give you a kiss and hug and nosey (Eskimo kiss)."
How can you say no to that?
We kiss, hug, and gives nosies.
M: "I love you, Mom."
Me: "I love you, too, Meredith."
Ugh, bleeding hearts unite, lol!! Ah, I love that girl <3
